More than 36.000 Safari Nomads joined the 7th edition of WECANDANCE
Three days of sand, sahara & safari on the beach of Zeebruges
After a successful two days with more than 21.000 visitors, WECANDANCE festival went out with a bang today and welcomed another 15.000 party goers on the beach of Zeebruges to dance in true safari nomad style. The first two days were completely sold-out and by the end of Sunday most tickets flew out the door as well. With a total of more than 36.000 visitors, the three-day expedition in the wild was the most successful edition of the boutique festival to date.
Three days of riding on a storm
The 7th edition of the electronic beach festival was definitely better than one could have ever expected. Thousands of Safari Nomads came to experience the high-quality music, delicious food and all the other incredible surprises that WECANDANCE had in store. The heavy wind that threatened to throw a spanner in the works at first, eventually turned the beach into a real sahara, creating the perfect setting for our riders on a sand storm.
Musical highlights
Once again, there were quite some musical highlights in many different styles, like the sets from John Noseda and Damian Lazarus. Charlotte Adigéry made the public go crazy to funky animalistic beats, while Sylvie Kreusch took the party goers along on a mystical trip with her live performance. Eagle made the Thillers stage go wild. And the man with the hat, Kölsch, surpassed all the crowd’s expectations and closed the festival with a unique 3 hour set.
Countdown to next edition
The 8th edition of WECANDANCE festival will take place on August 7th, 8th & 9th 2020. A new theme will be announced around March. For regular updates, keep an eye on the website: www.wecandance.be.
